Psychiatrist
Trained in medicine, psychiatry and public health, Dr. David Allen has taught at Harvard and Yale, and held a clinical professorship in Psychiatry at Georgetown Medical School in Washington, DC.
He helped pioneer the development of treatment approaches to cocaine addiction in the Bahamas and Washington, DC.
He has founded support programs, won awards, written numerous books and scientific papers, and is considered an international expert in his field. Presently, Dr. Allen operates a private practice in psychiatry.
