Nurse
Nova is the only practicing critical care nurse with certification in The Bahamas. She is one of the founders of the critical care and telemetry unit at Doctor’s Hospital, where she also started the sole respiratory therapy program.
She trains nurses and technicians in a variety of capacities. Nova says she absolutely loves her job. She has been a nurse for 22 years and has never missed a day, never called in sick. She is now in the processs of starting the first commercial flight nurse service here in the Bahamas.
