Arlene Nash Ferguson served as an educator for 24 years, positively impacting the lives of thousands of young Bahamians. An avid proponent of Bahamian culture, she also served on the National Junkanoo Committee for many years. To Arlene Junkanoo is not just a parade – it is a celebration of history and heritage. With her husband, she founded and runs Educulture, an experiential Junkanoo Museum and Resource Center, aiming to explore, discover and celebrate the spirit of Junkanoo.
