Musician, Artist, Songwriter, Bahamian Philosopher
Bahamas-born Eric Minns has led a broad and notable career as a musician/entertainer. He is well-known for the humour and island-spirit in his songwriting.
Though he recorded some himself, most were performed by others. “Island Boy” was his biggest hit but his first was the award-winning “Fox Hill Gal” recorded by King Eric & His Knights, 1976. Minns considers himself something of a philosopher, and has said “I love to entertain and to make people laugh, but I also try to make people think.”
