At the age of 19, Oswald “One Hand” Stubbs was the victim of a hit-and-run accident that severed his arm and left one of his closest friends dead.
It was traumatic and the recovery process was slow and difficult but he eventually made a good life for himself.
He got married and was a taxi driver for many years. Later, he battled debilitating depression when his life seemed to be falling apart once again.
He overcame his hardships through his belief in God and that good would prevail.
These days, no matter what life brings, he always has a smile and encouraging words to share. He passed away in 2022.
